PAINTING IT (JACK) BLACK ON MAIN STREET

Keeping up with Jack Black isn't easy on a normal day. But when he's causing traffic backups on Main Street during Sundance, you better hope your photog is in good shape. Alison hung out with Senor Black in the Delta Sky 360 suite to discuss his upcoming comedy "Be Kind Rewind" (due out Feb. 22).

Some really funny moments here, especially when Jack throws an impromptu shout-out to NetFlix (Full disclosure: they sponsor our Pick of the Week clip each week). Also watch for director Michel Gondry's surprise 'cameo' during the interview. Enjoy.

'BLIND' FAITH BINDS TUCCI & CLARKSON

Stanley Tucci & Patricia Clarkson are the kind of stars you want to run into at Sundance. They're not there to glom all the free stuff companies throw at celebrities in exchange for a free plug (in fact, both seemed kind of annoyed with the whole SWAG atmosphere surrounding the fest) -- they're there to talk about their movie. How novel.

"Blind Date" (still looking for distribution) is written and directed by Tucci. It's a remake of 1996's movie of the same title from the late director Theo van Gogh. This is no romantic comedy. It's a dark, sad story, basically a two-person play (give or take a few sideline players who appear briefly), but it features incredible performances from both. Alison talked to both in Park City, where they both admitted they hated each other. Kidding! Take a listen to the lovefest.

WACKY FOR 'THE WACKNESS'

Caught the premiere of "The Wackness" at the Racquet Club the other night. It stars Sir Ben Kingsley, who shows he has quite the comedy chops. Didn't love his Now York accent, but thought his take on a pot-smoking therapist was a hoot...

MARIA BELLO KEEPS BUSY IN PARK CITY

We caught up with the always-busy Maria Bello while at the Sundance Film Festival, where she was promoting not one, not two but THREE indie films (all intense movies about serious subject matters). "Nothing Is Private," "Downloading Nancy" and "The Yellow Handkerchief."

I don't know where she finds the time to read her scripts, let alone fit all the productions into her schedule. Alison caught up with her at the premiere of the last film and asked her about her love of all things Indie.
