Movie_alice_in_wonderland_flowers.pngAfter getting great press for her performance in "Rachel Getting Married," Anne Hathaway has now signed up for "Alice in Wonderland" from director Tim Burton. Johnny Depp is also on board to play the Mad Hatter, his latest collaboration with Burton.

Speaking of Depp, he's about to become the highest paid actor in Hollywood! According to Slashfilm.com, his salary for "Pirates of the Caribbean 4" will make Depp the new Top Dollar Dog in Tinseltown, beating out Tom Hanks ("Angels and Demons") AND Keanu Reeves ("The Matrix") Will there be enough money to bring back the other stars of the film - Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom? Hmm.

"Lethal Weapon 5" could be inching from rumor to actual development stage. The latest reports suggest Mel Gibson's approval was the last remaining hurdle to get the film on the fast track. No word yet on whether Mel has given his OK. isla_fisher300.jpg
"Wedding Crasher" Isla Fisher is starring in the new film "Confessions of a Shopaholic" coming out in February 2009. Check out the trailer here!

Kevin Smith's "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" or stick figures? Seems like Kevin Smith forgot to include Seth Rogen on the movie poster! Buses have been spotted holding advertisements for Smith's new film which do not include Seth Rogen, but instead a stick figure drawing of him! So why would Smith not want to include his A-list star? Is he worried people will confuse this film with Rogen's classic, "Knocked Up?" Hmm...

Kat Dennings from "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist", which had a $12.3 million debut this past weekend, might be signing on to work with Woody Harrelson. Entitled "Defendor" Harrelson will star as a regular guy who believes he has superhero powers. Dennings will play the teenager whom Harrelson befriends.
