Over the 4th of July weekend, rumors were flying about the “Friends” movie. We even posted it on our website. However, the latest report is that there will be no such film. A Warner Bros. rep has debunked all the rumors of the hoped-for reunion.

Here’s another rumor, this one about casting for Tim Burton’s live version of Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland.” Apparently, 23 year-old Ryan Nikole Parker has finally gotten her big break to star as Alice. She has fulfilled minor roles listed in her IMDB resume, but is still in the works for bigger roles. Burton plans to complete the film in 2010, since it was held off for his “Sweeny Todd” promotions.

B-movie queen Adrienne Barbeau (Escape From New York, Swamp Thing) has a new book out called "Vampyres of Hollywood" It's a supernatural film noir that posits that vampires have been spreading falsehoods about their bloodsucking legacy (like the whole 'they can't step into the sunlight' thing) to keep us pesky humans off their backs.
Check out a 9 min. promo for director John Woo's upcoming "Red Cliff" epic. It opens in the U.S. early 2009.
