In light of "Mamma Mia" coming over from the stage onto the silver screen, we thought why not give you something about all of the other musicals that made the same move! Check it out!

I like this retrospective, but there is no way to read past the first three lines of the description when you roll over the pictures with the cursor.

Also, you state that Oklahoma premiered on stage in 1979 (a revival), when I believe you mean 1943. You also (unnecessarily) apologize for including The Producers, which started out as a film, but an earlier entry, Hairspray, also started out as a film. Why not apologize for that one also?

Neat retrospective. A lot of those older ones are getting remade again(Oklahoma, Annie Get Your Gun, etc).

I wonder how long this musical popularity will last. Mama Mia has been getting mixed reviews.
