Jeffrey Lyons looks back on the life and career of legendary comedian George Carlin, who died Sunday from heart failure.

Georger Carlin was a cutting edge comedian, who has tremenodus skills observing , and then delivering his lightning quick wit and humour . Often compared to Lenny Bruce, if not in style but historically taking risks and pushing the envelope, to bring to people different ideas,or other ways to look at things. Always unique and provocative, George Carlin will always be an important part of the American culture.
