It's about time they came out with movies for "OLDER" women. We do have more time to go to the movies & more money at this stage. I'm 66 and went to the theater 3 times this week. Alway at least once a week with 5 other "OLD" women my age.

Mr. Lyons.
I think your opinion about moving the editor academy award presentation to the technical show is way off point.
As an editor myself, I understand that the edit room is where the magic happens; where the script, the pictures and the sound are skillfully combined to give a film life. With the same level of creativity as the screenwriter and the cinematographer. And the costume designer. And the production designer. Et cetera.
If what you meant was that the actors and the director should have their own show, then I understand. If not, then please, at least as a movie professional, you should understand and appreciate the role an editor plays and the recognition they deserve.

Can you please tell me why the film RESERVATION ROAD, with Jennifer Connelly, was only shown briefly and pulled from theatres? I heard it was a great movie with an outstanding cast. Thank you.

After seeing a couple of minutes of the most loathsome sonic pollution (coupled with visual pollution) last night, I was informed by Mr. Lyons that the nauseating Rolling Stones film was something wonderful. Far as I'm concerned it represented some of the most sickening garbage out there! Rock and roll destroyed music and replaced it with pollution, and the Stones are a wretched example thereof.
